About
Luisa Gandolfo completed her MLitt in Middle East Security at the University of Aberdeen and Ph.D. in Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter.
To date, her research has focused on faith, socioeconomic change, and national and political identities in Jordan and Israel/Palestine.
Currently, Luisa is engaged in research concerning religious identity and gender in the Middle East blogosphere, with a particular focus on the articulation of gender rights and activism in Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia.
