Terry O'Connor read Archaeology at the University of London. He has worked at the Universities of York, Bradford, then York again. Publications include 'The Archaeology of Animal Bones', 'Environmental Archaeology: Principles and Methods' (with John G. Evans), and a number of reports in the 'Archaeology of York' series. His research lies mainly in the field of zooarchaeology, and he is interested in the role of archaeology as a means of communicating the principles and excitement of science. His interest in music is as an avid consumer, not a producer.
